I would love to see more brushes in pencil 2d .There were talks about importing mypaint brush list into it . is the project abandoned ? More brushes will enrich the app without making it lose its simplicity .

One developer is working on a version of Pencil2D which integrates MyPaint. Their work is not ready to be included in Pencil2D officially yet, but you can follow their progress and try unofficial test versions they release in this thread: MyPaint version pre-alpha preview - #257 by MrStevns
