It would make much more sense, to cut and assamble the sound in a sound program and then to use it in pencil2D. Do you know audacity?
Audacity is an excellent audio editor, which can output a wide variety of sound files, including MP3 which can be imported into a Pencil2D sound layer.
It has a very intuitive interface and is therefore easy to learn.
