I was using Pencil2D, but being linked to a local network, which has an Internet connection.
Microsoft sent an update message, and eventually I received a message about updating Windows 11.
BUT before this I was playing a Pencil2D animation, within Pencil2D, the screen went black for a few seconds and then a message appeared center screen, asking me if I wanted to update Windows now or wait until later!
I thought my computer had crashed. When I selected I’ll update later, normal Pencil2D operation recommenced. I regularly save my working to the hard disk, so I was safe.
But this situation gave me a fright! Later when I did the update, a message was displayed on screen about Windows 11, now has AI features.
