(NB 325) - The “ALT” key color picker shortcut occasionally screws up selecting other tools
This is a known bug with the Windows version. I am working on a fix. I am told this only happens when alt is quickly tapped, so I would recommend trying to only press and hold it for the time being.
(NB 330) - Sometimes drawing a line doesn’t show up until after releasing the pen (maybe I have too many drawings at once? I suspect it may have something to do with selections.
Thanks for reporting. If possible please try to find a set of steps to consistently reproduce these issues. We can’t really fix the problems unless we know why it is happening or we can reproduce it ourselves. The more details you can provide about the circumstances when it does happen vs when it does not happen, the better. For instance, what pen are you using? Does it happen with the mouse? What makes you think it’s to do with selections? What layer type and tool are you using?
I can also verify that the pen lagging that JoeyH has exprienced is the same lag that I also can see sometimes.
It’s tricky to reproduce but to my understanding in order to see this bug, you will need to either have a big drawing/canvas or many layers with lot’s of frames. Basically a large file, then if you select something, you could for example copy a portion of a frame and paste it. Then directly after you switch back to the pen tool and start drawing and then you can see the lag.
To get rid of the lag you have to undo a pen stroke (just once) and it will be fast again.
This is what I remember about the problem so far, I draw with a Huion display tablet.
