Is it possible to add the brushes from MyPaint and Krita?
Unfortunately Krita is too laggy and MyPaint isn’t designed for animation.
Either way, I’m glad Pencil2D has improved a lot.

Indeed MyPaint Lib integration is being worked on. You can check the dedicated thread for progress.
However as you can read in the linked comment, there are some fixes needed for the automated builds work again on that “branch” (a separate development version which has the MyPaint implementation). Once it’s fixed, you should be able to test it yourself and leave feedback.
For now maybe take a look at the works other users have posted and follow development there
