I’ve never heard of a MyPaint version of Pencil? I can see from your screen-grabs that you have MyPaint style brushes - is this still available anywhere?

The mypaint integration is still WIP and glitchy but if you feel adventurous, then you can get the latest code from my branch and compile it yourself https://github.com/CandyFace/pencil/tree/implement_mypaint_nobitmapsurface?files=1
