What I want to know is that what’s the max amount of frames this software can have?

To answer you succinctly, there is an intentional limit of 9999 frames. Even commercial apps like Toonboom Harmony have a hard limit of 15,000 thousand frames.
However we do not recommend using all the available frames, due to performance & optimization reasons with raster graphics.
We rather advise to use a more professional workflow where each Pencil2D project file would house a single shot or scene (terminology depends on your background)
