Linux does not show previous frames shadowa

If by โ€œprevious frame shadowsโ€ you mean onion skinning, then there are a couple things you need to check. First make sure that you have enabled it (View > Onion Skin > Previous). Second, make sure there is nothing underneath the current layer that could cover it, like a background layer. The onion skin is drawn underneath everything else in v0.6.4, so it will get covered if you have a layer that fills the whole screen.
