Layer types within Pencil2D

I’ve examined a Main.xml file on a recent project. There was type 1, 2, 4 & 5, but no type 3. Has type 3 been reserved for another planned layer type?

Yes, type 3 is reserved for another layer type.

More specifically it was set aside a long time ago for a “movie” layer type. This is unlikely to every be used for that purpose given that we now allow importing movie video and audio to bitmap and sound layers respectively.
