I’m trying to rotate a drawing that I selected. Then I selected the move tool and pressed and held the control key. Then I tried dragging it but then the Screen just zooms in? Im on Mac by the way.

Now pick the Move Tool then press & hold the CTRL key while clicking & dragging inside the current selection. If you press the SHIFT key you’ll also be able to rotate at discreet angles as shown in this video tip:
On mac, you may have to hold the control key or the command key depending on your keyboard layout.
