Question: hello, is it possible to lock a specific camera position to a specific animation frame so that there is no need to shift the camera frame each time the position of animation frame is changed. Thank you in advanced.
Answer i received: With the camera layer selected and the desired frame selected, define a frame using the insert frame button.
I am unsure where the insert frame button is sorry could I get a more specific answer
@bootlegdagut Hello. If I understand your issue correctly then the answer is Yes. You can hold the same position over time.
In v 0.7.2 to add a camera frame:

-
Select the
Camera Layer
-
Move the playhead indicator / time cursor to the frame you want the keyframe to be created at.
-
Press the Add Frame button

-
One the new keyframe is created, right click over the keyframe and you’ll see a pop-up menu. Note: If you only have a single camera frame, some the “transform” options will show greyed out, including the “Hold to keyframe N”
-
With more than two keyframes, you can hold / freeze the automatic tweening motion between each position which would function as “cuts” instead of “pans”. However there is a catch that I think might be a bug. The “tweening” function requires at least 2 keyframes, but it seems when we enable the “hold” functionality the second keyframe position will be reset.
Note for devs: It seems to me that the "hold to keyframe N" should be "hold to keyframe N-1" to avoid having extra keyframes.
The workaround to achieve the same effect without using “hold” by simply creating the 1st and 2nd keyframe with the same static position, and having the 3rd frame immediately after the 2nd with a different camera position.

I hope this explains what you needed to know. If not please reply with a bit more info on what you want to achieve. Happy weekend.
