Hello! I’m a new user, and I love this app. I’m not sure if it has been implemented yet- but is there a way to select something in bitmap and flip it on its axis without flipping the entire screen? thanks!

Yes that’s possible 
Make a selection and go to the top menu, then click on the edit tab and select “selection”, then choose the appropriate axis.
