I had one of my animations corrupt yesterday, and I’ve tried almost everything to try to fix it. I dunno what to do! Can someone help me restore it please??
do you use windows because if you right click on your file then select properties and go to the previous versions you may see a version of your last save and click restore if you see it

If the techniques outlined there do not help you recover your project, and you are willing to share the files, you can upload the project here or share a link from a file sharing site (WeTransfer, Google Drive, mega, etc.) and we can take a look at it. Sometimes some data can be recovered, other times not so much. It all depends on the type of file corruption.
To avoid this in the future, the most important thing you can do is keep regular backups of your projects. Unfortunately there will always be some chance of file corruption despite our best efforts to improve the stability of the application. Making sure you using the latest version of Pencil2D (currently v0.7.2) is also important so you’re not missing out on any fixes we have for issues like this.
Hey! I did try to do the “previous versions”, but that didn’t seem to work either. Here is the link of my animation. Please let me know if this works or if you’re able to fix it!!! Thank you so much for willing to help me with this. I was absolutely devastated when I found out it corrupted after I had so much work done. Thank you again!
