BUG: BRUSH tool on VECTOR layer

I am not much of working with vector layer, but found this.

SUGGESTION: The BRUSH tool doesn’t make sense when working on vector layers. It should be disable with all its parameters (size, feather, etc.)
[this was once mentioned before]. The brush tool is essentially for a bitmap layer.

BUG: Curious behaviour:

  1. start Pencil
  2. go to VECTOR layer
  3. select BRUSH tool
  4. draw some lines
  5. go to File > NEW (CTRL+N)
  6. click NO when asking to save changes
  7. The NEW document/canvas opens…
    …but the drawing lines are still there (bottom right corner). This time on the BITMAP layer.
