How to loop fire

That is basically it. Could anyone help me with how to loop an animation without just copy pasting the frames hundreds of time?

thanks

@SadMep Hey, there’s a feature request for this kind of thing, but right now it’s not possible to do it inside of Pencil2D.

My honest recommendation is to animate the fire cycle in pencil2d, export it as an image sequence with transparent background and then loop it on a video editor to your heart’s content. Also exporting the rest of your animation as background should allow you to overlay the fire on top of it and then create your video.

Note that the white bg in pencil2d is not real, it’s just a way to represent transparency, so once you export the iamge sequence you just need to check the “transparency” checkbox in the exporter options dialog.
