Whenever I use the eraser on a line, some parts of that line get erased but others still remain. This has gotten to the point where no matter how many times I erase a line it won’t go away. Am I just missing something?

One thing you probably can check, the eraser only erases the current frame of the current layer. In pencil2d you see a line, it could probably come from another layer, or previous or next frames (onion skins). Or you are currently on a position which has no keyframes.
